1969-72 Massey Ski Whiz track

1969-72 Massey Ski Whiz 15 1/2"x 131" track. part#521849M1. It looks to have very low miles on it and is in very good condition and not dry rotted or weather checked and came off a sled that was stored indoors. It does have a few spots on the one side were it had rubbed on the tunnel at some time but not bad and is dirty from storage, but will not affect its performance in any way and will clean right up. This was going to be used on my restoration but I found an NOS track and would like to see someone get use out of it. These are very hard to find this nice. $150 firm + shipping or can deliver to A-1 if paid for in advance.

I have a decent 83 citation ss 377 has twin carbs and oil injection. I bought as a project sled and found a merc the next day, so this one has to go. It was stored in a barn for several years has a good seat, skis, track and skid. Looks to be a very complete sled has great compression and 19xx origional miles. Only major thing wrong with the sled is currently will not start and has surface rust on the belly pan can easily be sanded and repainted pan is solid. Asking $250 obo any reasonable offer will be accepted need room in the garage. f16_mark@yahoo.com

I have a 340 kawasaki a/c engine. It was supposed to produce 35 hp but later I found out it makes about 32 hp. How can i increase the hp. would a tuned pipe help? Would dual carbs increase the hp? Thanks Bob

Our Minnesota trip on Sept. 3rd. is full going from Minnesota east but we still have room for one machine going west. We will be traveling thru Michigan (upper & lower) then thru northern Wisconsin into Minnesota. We will also have a truck at the New Hampshire Museum swapmeet on Sept. 18th. with room left for 2 machines going to or from the show. We have already started putting together another Minnesota trip for late September with plenty of room going to Minnesota but starting to fill up coming east. A friend of mine has for sale a 1974 Arctic Cat Panther VIP with Hydrostatic drive. This very rare machine hasn't run in many years and will need a resto or would be great for parts. It is fairly complete. I will post pictures later. He is looking to get $150 OBO.

If anyone nearby can make this event it truly will be fun. Big payouts in all classes. Manufacturer demo's,snocross on REAL snow, quad demo ride,swap meet(mostly late model stuff), a ton of stuff for everyone and great deals from the sponsoring dealership on plugs,oil,dolly's, etc.
Oh and the vintage snowmobile show. We got some great trophies for that too!

\'74 SPEEDWAY 340, extra 440 engine and many parts

'74 Speedway 340. Kohler K3402AX fan is the factory engine. Speedway made a very few (25) of these near the end of their production. Engine spins nice and has 148/145 compression. Sled is very complete and in good condition. Track is usable, but has 5 broken cleats and missing 2. Seat will make a good pattern and the foam is good. Hood is solid and has nice color. Suspension and tank are good. Has one of those combo string tether & push-button kill switches. It would be an easy resto or vintage rider. Also comes with the following wonderful Speedway parts:
Kohler K440-2SS Starburst free air mounted on a magnesium Speedway power platform. Heads and cylinders have no broken or bent fins. Engine had been stuck but now spins easy with the recoil and compression is over 125 each. Might still need bearings. Complete with original twin Tilotsen HD80's with ram tubes and original throttle cable, Comet 102C drive, Comet II driven, disc brake and jackshaft all in good condtion. Also a '72 hood- faded but solid with 2 extra vents to cool those big starburst heads, a complete suspension, good tank with fittings, 2 Donaldson ('72 style) power tuned mufflers for the 440, drive axle with sprockets, nice chrome handlebars with controls, headlight with perfect chrome, chain case with triple sprockets and chain, tunnel braces, taillite housing, speedo cable, hi rev clutch spring and even a NOS pair of those funky square stock ski rods. All this for $1200 Have a few more pics.
